County Roads

First off I'd like to say that I'm new to this kind of thing. In the past I've only done writing when it came to fan fiction. Now, I'm writing about things that have to do with life, morals, and etc.

I don't know how many States have this problem when it comes to county roads. So, I'll write about mine and hope that I'm not the only one this affects.

Most of the time I stay at my dad's trailer which is off of a county road. I've been there off and on for the past year. The people of this town voted to keep the tax for the county roads on the books. Therefore, every time we all shop in town some of the taxes we pay are to be used to maintain the county roads. During the past year this road, where my dad's trailer is, has probably been graded three to four times. I've chatted with some of the other town's folk and found out they have the same issue. My dad has talked with the Commissioner, who is suppose to be in charge of these roads, and the man has responded with, "My road is just as bad as yours." Well, let me tell you, that I've been to the Commissioners road and most of it is paved with base rock going from one end of his driveway to the other. How can someone who's suppose to be in charge of taking care of business, is not doing his job? If they can't do the job they were voted in to do then they shouldn't have it in the first place!
